2014 nissan frontier review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. The mid-size nissan frontier pickup combines versatility with practicality, and is suitable for both work and the trail. The frontier is offered in six trim levels: s, sv-i4, sv, desert runner, the pro-4x off-road model and the luxurious sl. For the s trim level, air conditioning, cruise control, bluetooth wireless connectivity, an am/fm/cd with auxiliary input and steering wheel audio controls, as well as an overhead console with sunglass holder and front map lamps, are now standard for 2014 on all but the 4x2 king cab with manual transmission. Additional trim-dependent standard features include aluminum wheels, fog lamps, side steps, spray-in bedliner, bed extender, dual-zone automatic climate control, satellite radio, heated front seats, leather upholstery, a garage door opener and a 4. 3-inch color display, along with nissanconnect, offering wireless audio streaming, selective internet access, and smartphone integration; all crew cabs are also equipped with a manual sliding rear window. The desert runner and pro-4x are exclusively outfitted with bilsteinâ® off-road shocks and all-terrain tires, while the pro-4x also features skid plates and a driver-selectable locking rear differential. Rear parking sensors and a rearview camera monitor are also offered. The nissan frontier carries over with minor changes for 2014. The s trim gets a higher level of standard equipment, while heated front seats are added to the pro-4x (optional on the sv). Additionally, the available navigation system is upgraded by adding smartphone integration and enhanced voice recognition.
